What I’d prefer to do is freeze one or two batches ahead of time and make a fresh batch as guests are settling in. (Ice cubes you may have to add to the blender to get to the right texture faster.) 15 minutes before you want to serve up your margaritas, remove the bag from the freezer and place the frozen drink in a pitcher as you prepare you serving glasses. I would grab Patron if you are looking to splurge, and if you need a more budget friendly option, Sauza is great. Milagro Silver is my recommendation for a good mid-level tequila that is 100% agave and absolutely delicious. This ensures that the tequila is not supplemented with a lower quality alcohol. Since agave is the plant that tequila is made from, you want it to be the main ingredient. ![]() ![]() The main thing to keep in mind is that you want to look for something that is 100% agave.
